Small time crook Larry Todd, (Martin), is being pursued by gangsters when he encounters a
woman, (Scott), who has inherited a castle on a Carribean island rumoured to be haunted
and hold a hidden horde of treasure. Together with Todd's friend, (Lewis), they arrive at
the creepy castle encountering zombies and gangsters.
A trite and only occasionally amusing musical vehicle for Martin and Lewis and another
reworking of Ghostbreakers
(1940). Hope and Crosby appear briefly during the final musical number.

revived by a bat vomiting blood onto his ashes and a sensuous vampiress, (Hempel). The
villagers try to burn down Dracula's castle, but he survives to send a number of
man-killing bats upon them only to be impaled on a flaming lightening rod.
Although not the best of the series and the last Hammer made in a period setting, this is
the most sadistic, including scenes of Klove being tortured and one of Dracula's vampire
brides being killed while her blood is sucked from her sliced flesh.

Superintendant Bellaver, (Marks), is called in to investigate three savage murders in
which the victims have been drained of blood. The frustrated police encounter a man,
(Gothard), who seems capable of super-human strength, including leaving his hand behind to
escape from handcuffs. The suspect leads the investigation to Doctor Browning, (Price),
who is actually an insane synthetic man using the choicest body parts to try and make more
superhumans with abilities similar to his own for a fascist power.
Producer Subotsky re-edited the film cutting most the plot twists.
Although quite disjointed, this is a lively horror film that has found some cult success.

unimaginative and overcomplicated plot notable for the killings that depict sex and gore
in a way that didn't become popular until the teenkill films of the '80's. A woman has her
faced pressed against a red hot stove, another has her head smashed repeatedly against a
tree and another has a blade lined mask slammed onto her face.
